The Gujarat unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party announced a series of public‑service programmes called ‘Seva Maru Yogdan’, scheduled to run across the state until Oct 2 as part of the nationwide ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’.
Planned activities cover tree‑planting drives under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ banner, cleanliness campaigns titled ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’, health and eye‑check‑up camps, anti‑plastic awareness drives, events honouring armed‑forces personnel and families, assistance for persons with disabilities and service work in tribal hostels.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, BJP state president Jagdish Vishwakarma, Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, organisational leaders, elected representatives and party workers will participate, linking the effort to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25‑year public‑life milestone and the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on Oct 2.
