Addressing civil service aspirants and student organizations in Bengaluru, representatives announced a coordinated statewide awareness campaign spanning university campuses across Karnataka. The mobilization seeks to highlight candidate grievances regarding preliminary examination answer-key discrepancies, delayed appointment notifications for Gazetted Probationers (Group A and B posts), and transparency gaps in digital evaluation protocols.
The advocacy group outlined a multi-point reform memorandum submitted to the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (DPAR). Key recommendations include mandating strict annual recruitment calendars, establishing independent oversight committees for question paper setting, and instituting automated grievance redressal mechanisms for competitive exam candidates.
Student federations and youth forums participating in the campaign plan to hold district-level roundtables across Mysuru, Dharwad, Kalaburagi, and Mangaluru to consolidate aspirant feedback and present a unified charter of demands to the Karnataka state government ahead of the upcoming legislative assembly session.
