Iran on Saturday called on the United States to abide by the framework deal reached in June, describing the Pakistani‑brokered pact as a sovereign decision approved by the country's highest leadership, Anadolu reports.
The call was made by Interior Ministry spokesman Ali Zainvand, who referenced a possible visit to Tehran by Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, according to Iranian state television.

Zainvand said a large number of countries are working to resolve the issue, noting Pakistan’s mediation role and other diplomatic initiatives continue strenuously, with efforts aimed at returning to the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding.
