Chandigarh police have launched investigations into two separate phone theft incidents, one involving deception and the other a swift snatch-and-grab.
In the first case, two men approached a resident in Burail, convincing them to lend their phone by claiming an urgent emergency call was needed. Once handed the device, the pair fled the scene.
The second incident occurred in Sector 50, where bike-borne snatchers targeted a pedestrian, grabbing the phone and speeding away before the victim could react.
