In a major law enforcement crackdown against financial deception and property crimes, the Bengaluru police have arrested two individuals accused of systematically duping multiple women across the metropolitan area. The targeted police operation culminated in the successful recovery of high-value stolen gold jewelry estimated to be worth Rs 19 lakh, dealing a decisive blow to localized fraudulent schemes that had created widespread safety and security concerns among local residents in recent weeks.
The strategic operation was planned and executed under the direct administrative guidance of BS Nemagouda, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in charge of the North Division. Under DCP Nemagouda's supervisory oversight, law enforcement authorities prioritized the case, establishing dedicated supervisory measures and allocating critical divisional resources to closely monitor patterns of deceptive financial fraud reported by female victims in the northern corridors of the city.

ACP Renuka Prasad commanded specialized investigative teams that systematically tracked down operational lead details, analyzed local complaint filings, and coordinated precise tactical moves to isolate, locate, and apprehend the two suspects responsible for the fraud scheme.
Following the successful apprehension of the two accused individuals, law enforcement officers managed to locate and secure the full stash of stolen property. The seized gold assets, valued at a total of Rs 19 lakh, were formally inventoried by the Yeshwanthpur Sub-Division police team as vital material evidence to support the legal prosecution's case during upcoming trial proceedings in the judicial court.
With both suspects currently held in official custody, police officials are finalizing comprehensive documentation detailing the specific modus operandi used by the duo to swindle victims out of their valuables. The successful arrests and asset recovery highlight the operational coordination between the North Division leadership and local sub-divisional police units in responding rapidly to public complaints and safeguarding community property across Bengaluru.
