Bengaluru police have detained a man accused of killing a construction worker with a wooden stick after a heated argument over a pledged mobile phone at a bar in the city’s south.
The dispute reportedly centered on the mobile phone, and the victim died at the scene. Authorities say the suspect is in custody pending further investigation.
Police said the incident occurred in a bar located in the southern part of Bengaluru. They are conducting forensic examinations of the wooden stick and interviewing witnesses to establish the sequence of events.
