OpenAI has launched virtual try-on capabilities inside ChatGPT, letting paid subscribers upload photos to see how clothing and accessories look on them. The feature uses generative AI to overlay items onto user images with realistic fit and lighting.
Users can also save preferred products to a Favorites library for later reference or purchase. The shopping tools are restricted to ChatGPT Plus and Pro tiers, with no timeline given for free-tier access.
