The tribute team to the 1979 Beetles emerged victorious at the 21st annual High Hopes golf tournament, organized by the Parker Youth & Sports Foundation, which took place last month at Apple Tree Resort in Yakima Valley.
The competition was staged a day after the foundation’s yearly banquet that honored local sports legends, linking the celebration of historic achievements with a showcase of emerging athletic talent.
