Dhillon, Punjab BJP president, announced he will wear a black turban until justice is served for Parvinder Singh Jhotan, a slain anti‑drug activist, joining a protest in Mansa town.

He urged Punjabis to wear black turbans, dupattas and carry black flags against what he called the AAP government’s failure to curb drugs, citing other activists driven to suicide or murder. He demanded Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann resign and warned of continued public unrest.

The protest, supported by Jhotan’s father Bhim Singh, frames the killing as a blow to law and order, with the BJP pledging to raise the family’s case at all levels.
