The Odisha unit of the BJP Yuva Morcha announced a world record after gathering 8,810 units of blood on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 76th birthday, a milestone reported from Bhubaneswar.
The blood drive formed the opening event of a month‑long ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ launched nationwide to honor the birthday, with the campaign scheduled to run across India until October 17.
