The Karnataka Special Investigation Team (SIT) carried out simultaneous raids at ten locations spread across six Indian states as part of a crackdown on a suspected counterfeit pharmaceutical operation.
The raids are linked to a fake drug racket that first came to light in Dodderi, a suburb on the outskirts of Bengaluru, prompting the SIT to expand its probe beyond state borders.

Authorities said the operation aims to dismantle the illicit supply chain and have not released further details on arrests, seizures or the identities of those involved.
