Delhi’s newly launched Liquor Booking app allows shoppers to select a specific brand and bottle size, make an online payment and reserve the stock ahead of time, eliminating the need to browse shelves in‑store.

Even with the digital checkout, the liquor must be picked up physically from the licensed vendor, and the reservation feature is restricted to users subscribed to the app’s paid plans.

Authorities introduced the service to ease the long queues that regularly line up outside Delhi’s liquor shops, offering a faster, pre‑paid alternative for consumers.
