The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority announced it will defer its slated service reductions until the May 2027 election, a decision taken after a series of public hearings.
Agency officials cautioned that if voters reject a proposed tax increase slated for next spring, the authority will be forced to implement deeper cuts to its transit services.
