Odisha’s chief minister, Mohan Charan Majhi, returned from a three‑day visit to the United Arab Emirates with investment proposals valued at ₹2.42 trillion and an estimated employment potential of 618,000 jobs.
During the trip the state signed eight memoranda of understanding and received 16 distinct investment intents covering a range of sectors.
