Estonian autonomous systems leader Milrem Robotics has formally expanded its industrial cooperation with Polish state-owned defense giant Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ Group) at the International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO). The renewed partnership includes fresh agreements signed with PGZ subsidiary Zakłady Mechaniczne "Tarnów", aiming to accelerate the development and deployment of next-generation robotic ground vehicles and autonomous capabilities across Central Europe.
The agreements announced at MSPO build upon existing joint initiatives to integrate weapons platforms, sensors, and remote-control modules onto Milrem’s flagship unmanned ground vehicle platforms. By leveraging Zakłady Mechaniczne Tarnów's expertise in armaments, heavy manufacturing, and remote weapon stations, the collaboration seeks to deliver fully integrated combat and support robotics tailored to the operational requirements of NATO member forces.

As European defense requirements rapidly shift toward unmanned and autonomous combat technologies, the collaboration highlights Poland's efforts to modernize its land forces and strengthen localized defense manufacturing. Milrem Robotics, recognized globally for its modular robotic solutions, provides the autonomous software architecture and vehicle chassis, while PGZ Group entities deliver mission-specific kinetic capabilities and hardware engineering.
Industry analysts note that industrial partnerships established at major defense expos like MSPO reflect a broader strategic push across the European continent to build sovereign technological capabilities in defense robotics. The agreement strengthens cross-border integration between Baltic technology hubs and Polish industrial manufacturing centers, facilitating faster deployment cycles for autonomous tactical systems.
