DXC Engineering Teams with LOXO to Scale Level‑4 Autonomous Delivery Vehicles

DXC Engineering and Swiss firm LOXO join forces to move Level‑4 driverless trucks from pilots to enterprise‑wide middle‑ and last‑mile logistics, tackling driver shortages and cost pressures.

Ashburn, Va., Sept. 17, 2026 – DXC Technology announced a strategic partnership with Swiss autonomous‑driving developer LOXO to accelerate the rollout of Level 4 autonomous commercial vehicles for middle‑ and last‑mile logistics.

LOXO brings a proven driverless platform that has earned Europe’s first approval for Level 4 logistics operations on public roads, while DXC contributes engineering, AI, data and systems‑integration expertise drawn from its work with more than 50 million vehicles worldwide.

The collaboration targets the logistics sector’s looming shortfall of roughly 750,000 truck drivers by 2028, aiming to shift autonomous fleets from isolated pilots to repeatable, enterprise‑scale deployments that integrate back‑end data services, fleet orchestration and operational workflows.

“Autonomous driving technology is on the road today; the next challenge is scaling it across enterprise operations,” said Karim Jeribi, Europe General Manager at DXC. LOXO CEO Amin Amini added that the partnership will turn proven autonomy into scalable commercial operations across European markets and beyond.

Why This Matters

By linking LOXO’s certified Level 4 software with DXC’s large‑scale integration capabilities, the partnership offers a practical path to mitigate severe driver shortages, lower logistics costs, and meet rising delivery demand, potentially reshaping European supply chains and setting a template for global autonomous freight adoption.
