The BRICS International Football Alliance (BIFA) officially opened its India branch during the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi, declaring football as a vehicle for peace and integration across the bloc.
Representatives such as Purnima Anand and Brazilian journalist Leonardo Attuch endorsed the initiative, highlighting Brazil’s storied football heritage and the alliance’s motto “United by Football. Connected by BRICS,” as a framework to deepen dialogue among member nations.
