The Tripura government is collaborating with the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI), an autonomous institution under the Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, to create the Tripura Film and Television Institute (TFTI) in Agartala. This initiative is designed to strengthen professional education in film, television and audio-visual media across the state.
SRFTI, based in Kolkata, will work closely with the state government to develop this world-class institution. The partnership reflects a coordinated effort to enhance technical and artistic training in the creative industries of Tripura.
