Mumbai police sources say Salman Khan was the original target of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The shooters had conducted reconnaissance at Khan’s Bandra home but were deterred by tight security, forcing the conspirators to abandon the initial plan. Because of the fortified protection, the gang shifted focus to a secondary target.

The gang then targeted actor Tiger Shroff, labeling him an “easy second choice.” Shooters fired at Shroff’s car during Sunday’s incident in Juhu, leaving the vehicle damaged. Police have opened an investigation into the attack, which underscores the gang’s willingness to strike high‑profile Bollywood figures.
