The AAP Sunday claimed that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was detained for three hours at Delhi airport upon his return from Paris and fined Rs 50,000. Airport officials cited “tremendous pressure from above” as the reason for the action, a statement that has raised questions about the influence of higher authorities on routine airport procedures.

The party did not disclose why Mann was detained or fined, leaving the circumstances unclear. Punjab AAP media in-charge Baltej Pannu officially commented on the situation, linking the incident to the ongoing political environment.
