The Andhra Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Naidu, officially launched the Pramaan operating system on Thursday, branding it as the state’s first AI‑driven platform for the corporate and accounting sectors. Developed by Pramanique Infotech Private Limited, Pramaan integrates machine‑learning models to automate routine tasks, generate statutory compliance reports and provide real‑time data analytics.
Pramaan targets small and medium enterprises, large corporations, chartered accountants and other accounting professionals. Its suite includes AI‑enabled invoice processing, tax filing assistance, risk‑based analytics, and end‑to‑end information‑security protocols that align with national data‑privacy standards. In a briefing, the IT department highlighted that the platform can reduce manual processing time by up to 60 percent and lower error rates in compliance filings.
State officials said the rollout will be phased, beginning with a pilot involving select businesses and accounting firms. Training modules and a dedicated support helpline will accompany the launch, and the government plans to integrate Pramaan with existing e‑governance portals such as the Andhra Pradesh Business Portal and the GSTN network.
