Mizoram's Chinmay Sutar etched his name in Ranji Trophy history as the second batsman to score 400 runs in a single innings, marking a career-defining milestone for the 29-year-old.

Sutar made the switch to Mizoram ahead of this season after departing Mumbai, where he had featured in just one List A match earlier this year, seeking greater opportunities in the longer format.

His massive knock underscores Mizoram's growing competitiveness in domestic cricket, with Sutar's form likely to attract attention from national selectors monitoring the Ranji Trophy.
