India’s Ministry of External Affairs summoned Pakistan’s Chargé d’Affaires at the High Commission in New Delhi on Saturday, delivering a strong protest over the persistent facilitation of illegal cross‑border infiltration from Pakistani territory. The démarche highlighted New Delhi’s view that such activities undermine regional security and violate bilateral agreements.
During the meeting, the MEA also rejected what it described as baseless and motivated allegations surrounding an unspecified issue, emphasizing that India would not tolerate any actions that threaten its internal stability. The protest marks the latest diplomatic friction between the two nations amid ongoing border tensions.
