During a virtual interaction, dozens of Maharashtra citizens who had been stranded in Nepal after severe flooding expressed deep gratitude to the Maharashtra government, the Chief Minister’s Office and the Union government for their rapid coordination and constant support throughout the crisis.
The rescue operation involved joint efforts of Nepalese authorities, Indian diplomatic channels and Maharashtra’s disaster management teams, who arranged safe passage via road and air, provided emergency supplies and facilitated the return of the citizens to their homes in Maharashtra.
