The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has conducted its second and third rounds of stakeholder consultations on the provisions of the Master Plan for Delhi 2047 (MPD 2047), focusing on ensuring coordinated and participatory implementation. Conducted under the directives of Lieutenant Governor and DDA Chairperson T.S. Sandhu, the sessions brought together major civic agencies, service providers, transport authorities, and heritage conservation organizations.
The second meeting focused on major infrastructure and municipal governance entities. Key participants included representatives from the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), Delhi Jal Board (DJB), Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), and Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC). Transport and urban planning authorities such as the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC), Delhi Police, and the Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB) also participated, alongside Delhi government departments covering Public Works, Power, Land and Building, Fire, Forest, and Irrigation and Flood Control.

The third consultation specifically targeted heritage preservation, urban design, and cultural management. Attendees included officials and experts from the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH), School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), Delhi Tourism, Delhi Urban Art Commission (DUAC), Department of Archaeology, Indraprastha Virasat Punarvikas Nigam (IVPN), Delhi Fire Service, and the Ministry of Culture. Technical bodies such as Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC), Central Public Works Department (CPWD), and the Institute of Town Planners, India (ITPI) also contributed to the sessions.
During the meetings, the DDA presented an overview of key MPD 2047 provisions, taking feedback and addressing technical queries to establish operational clarity. These sessions follow an initial consultation held with elected public representatives, including Members of Parliament and Legislative Assembly members. The DDA stated that these consultations form part of a broader three-month exercise comprising approximately 20 thematic meetings covering land pooling, Yamuna blue-green zones, group housing redevelopment, decongestion, and slum redevelopment.
