Audi announced on Friday that it has started local assembly of the all‑new Audi Q3 at the SAVWIPL facility in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra. The compact luxury SUV is powered by a 2.0‑litre petrol engine and features Audi’s quattro all‑wheel‑drive system.
Managing Director and CEO of Skoda Auto Volkswagen India, Piyush Arora, said the production start marks an important milestone for the group in India, highlighting the plant’s capabilities and the brand’s commitment to growth. He added that the Q3 will be built to Audi’s global standards of quality, precision and engineering excellence, and can be booked via the Audi India website, the myAudi Connect app, or at authorised dealerships.

Audi India sold roughly 4,510 units in 2025, a period that saw GST 2.0 boost buyer confidence in the luxury segment. The company raised prices across its range by up to 2 % from April 1, 2026, citing higher input costs and currency fluctuations, and aims to launch the locally built Q3 on Oct 16, 2026.
