Delhi Police released All India Students’ Association (AISA) president Neha Bora early Saturday morning after she was taken into preventive custody ahead of the ‘Lehra Do Tiranga’ protest march at Connaught Place on Friday. The detention of Bora and Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke was part of a pre‑emptive action to curb the demonstration.

Bora was freed while Dipke will be produced before the SEM court, according to police. Both were held before the protest began, reflecting the authorities’ focus on preventing potential disruptions to the rally at the iconic Delhi venue.
