Jackson, Mississippi – Law enforcement officials disclosed on Friday that they have taken a man into custody in relation to the fatal hanging of Tasia Fortune.
Fortune, identified as a Black woman, was discovered hanging from a tree in the state last month, prompting a homicide investigation that has now led to an arrest.
