UNKAPPED announced it is betting big on India, with a goal to enable 100 Indian enterprises to become AI-ready by March 2027. The plan was reported by Hybiz Tv.

The initiative highlights the growing demand for forward-deployed engineers, who sit inside businesses to determine what work AI should do and make it run. The most sought-after engineer in Indian technology today is the forward-deployed engineer.

Experienced forward-deployed engineers in India now earn up to ₹1.55 crore a year, and global platforms, AI labs and capability centres are actively hiring them.
