Meta's hardware push now reaches beyond its successful smart glasses. On Wednesday, CEO Mark Zuckerberg presented Meta Charm, a small handheld gadget for using the company's new Muse AI assistant.
The Wednesday presentation also included Meta's first virtual-reality device slim enough to pass for glasses and a pair of camera-free smart glasses. The camera-free design was intended to ease the growing privacy backlash against AI devices that can record video or take pictures of people without consent.
