Apple announced that its Tap to Pay on iPhone service is now available in eight additional countries: Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama and Peru.
The feature enables merchants to accept contactless payments directly on an iPhone, eliminating the need for traditional point‑of‑sale hardware; customers can tap their iPhone, Apple Watch, credit or debit card, or any other contactless payment method on the merchant’s device.
