The Milwaukee Brewers are World Series champions for the first time in franchise history, defeating the Tampa Bay Rays 4-1 in Game 5 to clinch the title.

The victory belongs to a young Brewers rotation led by starter Jacob Misiorowski, who pitched 5 2/3 innings in the decisive game. Playing in the smallest market in the majors, Milwaukee relied on small-ball tactics throughout the series.

The win delivers the franchise's long-awaited first championship, ending decades of near-misses and cementing the Brewers' place among baseball's elite.
