Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who will next appear in ‘Tumbbad 2’, shared the stage with his 15‑year‑old daughter Shora in the one‑and‑a‑half‑hour drama ‘Naqaab’, which opened with its first performance in Chicago.
He deliberately gave Shora the play’s biggest role, keeping her on stage from start to finish with the most dialogues, explaining that he wanted her to feel the full pressure of live theatre rather than a gradual introduction. Though he feared she might forget lines—there are no retakes—her debut performance impressed him, and the duo went on to complete nine shows.

Siddiqui added that once Shora finishes her studies, he will gladly support any formal acting training she chooses, noting that her early exposure to a demanding stage role has already provided practical experience for a future career.
