Prime Minister Narendra Modi ridiculed the Congress party's persistent efforts to project Rahul Gandhi as a future prime minister, likening the attempts to failed rocket launches.

Speaking at the NDTV World Summit, Modi quipped that in an entire year, Sriharikota does not attempt as many launches as the Congress makes failed attempts to launch its leader.

The remark underscores the ongoing political rivalry between Modi's BJP and the Congress, with the latter continuing to position Gandhi as its prime ministerial face despite electoral setbacks.
