India Leads Swedish Business Climate Survey, Tops 40+ Global Markets

India ranked the top market for business climate among over 40 global economies in the 2026 Swedish Chamber of Commerce survey, announced by Minister Piyush Goyal.

On Friday, September 18, 2026, Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal announced that India has been ranked the top market for business climate among more than 40 global markets.

The ranking comes from the 2026 Business Climate Survey conducted by the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in India (SCCI), which evaluates business environments across a broad set of economies.
