The Employees’ Union‑led alliance has taken an early lead in the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) recognised union elections, according to preliminary trends released on Thursday. The ballot, the first in almost ten years, recorded a remarkable 98 per cent voter turnout, underscoring strong employee engagement.

The alliance’s strongest performance came from the Greater Hyderabad region, where its support appears to have been decisive in shaping the current standings. Official results are still being counted, and the final outcome will determine the leadership of the corporation’s recognised union for the next term.
