The 12th edition of the BRICS Parliamentary Forum is underway in New Delhi on October 26, 2026, carrying the theme Fostering Parliaments for People-Centric Development. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to attend, and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will chair it.

The assembly invited eleven BRICS members and ten partner countries. Its focus on people-centric development places parliamentary action at the centre of the event, which is being held in New Delhi on the same day.
