Akhilesh Yadav said, 'Whoever wants to join us, we will welcome and accept them.'
BJP leader Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh had remarked that without him the state feels empty. The remark came as Opposition allies discuss seat sharing for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh elections, after a Congress leader pledged at least 150 seats. SP leader Ambika Chaudhary called Singh a senior figure, saying his words reflect public sentiment linked to donation irregularities in Ayodhya. Meanwhile, Congress MP Imran Masood and SP MP Iqra Hasan exchanged barbs over the alliance, and Akhilesh Yadav launched his 'PDA Rath Yatra' from Raebareli, the constituency of Rahul Gandhi.
