On Sept 2, 2026, Zoom disclosed that Jeff Epstein has joined its Board of Directors, effective immediately. The move comes as part of a broader board refresh, with the company also confirming the retirement of Jonathan Chadwick after his tenure.
Epstein brings extensive financial and operational experience, having served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Oracle Corporation. In that role, he oversaw Oracle’s global finance operations and contributed to its enterprise‑software growth. He currently holds the position of Operating Partner at Bessemer Venture Partners, a venture‑capital and private‑equity firm that invests in technology companies.
Jonathan Chadwick, who has been a member of Zoom’s board, will step down following the appointment. While the company did not disclose the length of his service, his departure marks the end of his involvement in Zoom’s governance.
The addition of a former CFO from a leading enterprise‑software firm is expected to deepen Zoom’s financial oversight and strategic insight, particularly as the company continues to expand its product portfolio beyond video conferencing. Epstein’s background in scaling large‑scale software businesses and his current venture‑capital role may also inform Zoom’s growth initiatives and partnership strategies.
Zoom’s leadership indicated that Epstein’s appointment strengthens the board’s expertise in finance, technology operations, and market expansion. The company said the board will benefit from his “deep understanding of enterprise‑software economics and venture‑capital perspectives,” positioning Zoom to navigate competitive pressures and pursue new revenue streams.
