Bob’s Famous Donuts, a locally owned bakery in Bethany, Missouri, announced on Thursday that its newly remodeled production facility will stop making donuts, effectively ending operations at the plant.
Patrick Miller, the shop’s proprietor, cited escalating expenses for ingredients, labor and energy as the primary drivers behind the decision, noting that the cost surge made the business financially unsustainable despite recent capital improvements.
